After graduating from the University of Iowa with a degree in Dental Hygiene, Dr. Shorr moved home to attend the University of Illinois College of Dentistry where she received a B.S. in dentistry in 1986. In 1988, after receiving her Doctorate of Dental Surgery, she began her practice in Skokie, Illinois, focusing on prevention and esthetics. Dr. Shorr began treating patients for snoring and sleep apnea in 2008 and is one of only several hundred dentists in the United States that is board certified by the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

Adriana Lozneanu, RDH - Dental Hygienist, grew up in Romania and worked as a dental assistant for 6 years after moving to the United States in 1990. She graduated from Harper College in 2003 with a degree in Dental Hygiene and was the recipient of the prestigious Golden Scaler Award.

Coreen grew up in Bartlett and worked in Hospitality Management prior to pursuing her second career in Dental Hygiene. She graduated from Harper College in 2015 and has extensive experience working in the periodontal field.

Ronela is Dr. Shorr's dental assistant. She was born and raised in Romania and immigrated to the Chicago area to be near her family. In fact, she is the niece of Adriana, our hygienist.

Ava has been interested in dentistry since she was a child. She always looked forward to going to the dentist and thought it would be a nice place to work. She thinks of our office as family and all of our patients as extended family. Her goal is to make every patient feel welcome, starting with the first phone call.
